Way2Bee Awards
Our Way2Bee Employee Recognition program provides a way for us to recognize Fun Crew for specific events, hard work and general situations that exemplify our mission statement. All recognized employees have a chance to win a prize each month, attend lunch or dinner gatherings, and are entered in to win a GRAND PRIZE at the end of each year.
The Odies
Each year, we host The Odies – a formal award dinner and ceremony for employees and their spouses & significant others. Employees vote for their peers in five categories: Chief Fun Officer, Educator of the Year, Coach, Service and Mr. or Ms. O2B Kids. We also honor our new Founders Club inductees – Fun Crew members who have been with O2B Kids for ten years – and create a scholarship in their name. This is a beautiful evening spent in a beautiful venue with family and friends. It reminds us all of the important work that we do.
Think Purple Annual Conference
Our annual THINK PURPLE Conference brings together employees from all locations for a day of learning and laughing. We model the day after a typical conference with four to five learning sessions per day and a nice variety of educational sessions to choose from. We include a keynote morning event and our much-coveted Diaper Changing Contest – pitting each location against each other. Pride is clearly on the line! Add in free food, free trinkets and a free t-shirt – and we have the recipe for full-octane learning fun!
The Swarm
Sometimes…unexpectedly…a group of purple-clad Fun Crew members travel from location to location bringing goodies and good cheer to our hard-working front line staff. It’s like a moving Flash Mob letting our Fun Crew members know that they are valued. They may set up a smoothie bar or a back massage station, or they may deliver sweets and gift cards. It’s fun…and it feels good.

Mr. Jacob rocks as our Cafe Manager and Receptionist! Jacob’s favorite food is fried chicken, he LOVES cookbooks and his favorite color is green! Mr. Jacob is amazing! His daily mission is to help every person he can. He delivers priority #1 consistently; he’s welcoming, escorts families and children in the facility, uses first names, introduces himself, smiles, and says Hello and Goodbye consistently! Jacob has completed his CDA degree and Directors Credential! We are VERY proud to have him on the Hunters Crossing team!

Our Science-Star, Mr. Clyde! Dissect an owl pellet? Grow basil? Watch a pitcher plant “eat” a fly? Rehab a baby bird and release it? How about making mango chutney to go with pan-fried squid? Yep, all this and so much more when you’re learning with Mr. Clyde! A true teacher at heart, Clyde strives to involve his students in all parts of the learning process, and to immerse them in concepts many won’t see again until high-school! A lover of Latin music, Clyde can be found singing his way around the center with one of his beautiful pet pythons happily looped around his shoulders. You just can’t help learning when you’re with Mr. Clyde!

Fun Fact
Mr. Christian has been part of the Program Calendar department in Oviedo since 2018. He teaches many subjects from drama, sports, gymnastics and dance. When you walk into his classroom you can feel the lovable energy he brings to the table. He is so thoughtful, caring and kind hearted, it's impossible not to love him! Mr. Christian's favorite food is BBQ, his favorite book is "The Cat in The Hat" and he loves the color green!

Mr. Andrew
Years Teaching
Mr. Andrew started at O2B last summer after two years of teaching English overseas in Japan!
Fun Fact
Andrew loves teaching the alphabet and phonics to his juniors, the same way he taught them to elementary schoolers abroad. He has grown with O2B Kids and is now the Associate Director of one of our locations in Tampa, FL. He likes Legos and Lincoln logs and loves O2B delicious lunches! He comes to work with a big smile and is greeted by many little smiles at the door. His favorite food is anything Thai, he LOVES the book “Cat in the Hat” by Dr. Seuss and his favorite color is blue!

Fun Fact
Ms. Morgan is team player. She loves to make her coworkers successful. Morgan is an excellent asset to any age classroom. She is nurturing, kind and lots of fun! Her favorite part of being a teacher is being able to make each child feel successful! Ms. Morgan aspires to be a Preschool Director. Her favorite color is yellow and her favorite book is "Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are?" by Dr. Seuss.

Ms. Nicole has a passion for working with young children. She loves to teach them and watch them apply what they’ve learned. Ms. Nicole is the lead teacher in the Junior B class at Oviedo. Her classroom is bursting with curriculum! She makes every new experience a teachable moment for the children. Ms. Nicole's favorite book is "The Lorax" by Dr. Seuss and her favorite color is blue.
